The Glock 23 V MOS is a compact .40 S&W semi-automatic pistol in nDLC black, with a 4.02-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel and a 7.28-inch overall length. It weighs 21.17 ounces and holds 13+1 rounds. The MOS slide is cut to accept miniature red dot sights with an adapter plate. Standard fixed sights are fitted, the trigger safety is built in, and there is no manual or grip safety.

The Modular Backstrap System lets the grip be adjusted to fit different hand sizes. The optic-ready slide suits a buyer who plans to run a red dot from the start, once the right adapter plate is in place. The reversible magazine catch and ambidextrous slide stop support left- or right-handed use. Its 21.17-ounce weight and 13+1 capacity give a full firing grip in a compact frame.
