Description
Apex Tactical Duty/Carry Kit – S&W M&P Shield .40 S&W (Metal)
Part #100076 | Manufacturer: Apex Tactical
Let’s cut the fluff: if you’re carrying an M&P Shield in .40 S&W and you haven’t swapped out that factory trigger, you’re leaving performance on the table. This Apex Tactical Duty/Carry Kit is built for shooters who need a trigger that works—every time, in every situation. We’re talking about a setup that drops pull weight by about 2 pounds (factory tolerances vary, but that’s the ballpark), shortens over-travel, and gives you a reset you can actually feel without guessing.
Here in Dallas, we know what “carry” means. It’s not a range toy. It’s the gun you trust when the AC goes out in August and you’re still packing. This kit is designed to stay within the safe, reliable range for a service pistol—no hair-trigger nonsense, just a clean break and a reset that keeps you on target. Apex Tactical has been making this stuff for years, and they know the M&P platform inside out.
What’s in the box:
- 2-Dot fully machined sear
- Ultimate Striker Block (USB)
- Striker block spring
- Talon tactical tool
- Sear spring
- Slave pin
- Trigger return spring
Installation note: Apex strongly recommends having an armorer or gunsmith install the Ultimate Striker Block into the Shield slide. This isn’t a drop-in-and-go job for everyone. If you’re not comfortable detail-stripping your slide, bring it to a pro. Or if you’re local to Dallas, swing by the shop—we can point you to a few gunsmiths we trust.
This kit fits the S&W M&P Shield in .40 S&W with the metal frame (not the polymer version). Make sure you’ve got the right model before ordering. If you’re not sure, give us a call or stop in. We’ll get you squared away.
Price: $110.00
