The Apex Optic Mount is a precision-machined steel mounting solution built to securely attach Holosun 509T footprint optics to the factory GLOCK Gen 6 optic-ready slide. Machined from a solid billet of steel and finished with a black PVD coating, this mount offers superior corrosion resistance over standard aluminum mounts. Steel was chosen for a specific reason: a modern 9mm pistol slide experiences roughly 3000g of acceleration per shot. Aluminum mounts—whether 6061 or 7075—simply can’t handle that repeated force. In testing, aluminum rails tore off the base of the mount after just a few thousand rounds. Steel eliminates that failure point, keeping your optic locked in place round after round. Reliability is non-negotiable, and this mount is built to deliver it.
The included damper sits in the cavity under the front of the mount, dampening vibration and closing the light gap between the mount’s locking key and the slide. This reduces movement and keeps your zero consistent, even during rapid fire or extended strings at the range. The mount is specifically designed for GLOCK Gen 6 optic cut slides—no adapters or modifications required.
