This Action Enhancement Kit is built for Girsan MC P35 High Power pistols, including the MC P35 OPS and other factory variants. Designed for shooters who demand a crisper trigger and more consistent control, this kit replaces key internal components to deliver a measurable improvement in your pistol’s performance—whether you’re at the range for practical shooting, carrying concealed, or heading into the field.
The heart of this kit is the Tank Tread Hammer, machined from billet steel and inspired by the classic 1911 Commander profile. It features an integrated over-cocking limit pad that prevents the hammer loop from contacting the inside of the beavertail on OPS models during cycling. The hammer hooks are precision-ground to match the included Balanced Sear, so you get a clean, crisp trigger break without needing to stone or alter engagement surfaces. The serrated cocking surface provides positive purchase for your thumb, making cocking easier and reducing the chance of hammer bite.
Paired with the hammer is the Apex Wide Flat Trigger, also machined from billet steel. Its .31-inch wide face allows you to place your finger lower on the trigger, improving leverage on the pivoting system. This translates to more precise finger placement, increased comfort during extended sessions, and a more positive feel compared to the factory trigger. The trigger is finished with ArmorLube™ Duplex DLC—a matte black coating that offers superior resistance to corrosion, abrasion, and wear, holding up better than standard DLC coatings under heavy use.
The kit also includes the Hi-Power Balanced Sear, engineered with a nose geometry that pairs exactly with the Tank Tread Hammer hook profile. This eliminates the need for hand-fitting or stoning, so you get a drop-in improvement that delivers a clean, crisp trigger break. The Sear Lever Spring replaces the factory part to refine the trigger pull while maintaining factory drop safety values. The Firing Pin Spring and Hammer Spring are also included and must be installed to achieve the intended trigger pull improvement.
To make installation straightforward, a Trigger Pin Removal Punch is included. This punch is sized to prevent damage to the frame when removing the factory trigger pin.
