This extended control set is a direct drop-in replacement for your Springfield Hellcat or Hellcat Pro, designed to make everyday handling, concealed carry, and range work noticeably smoother. Priced at $150, this kit includes three machined steel components: an extended magazine release, an extended slide lock lever, and an extended takedown lever. Each part is heat-treated for long-term durability and 100% made in the USA.
The factory frame pins are blued steel. If you choose the chrome control set, a matching chrome pin set is included. For the standard blued controls, the factory pins work fine—no need to swap them unless you want a uniform look.
Every control surface is serrated and extended for a more positive grip. You get:
- Extended Slide Lock Lever – extends .050″ beyond the factory part for easier, more reliable slide release manipulation, especially with gloves or under stress.
- Extended Magazine Release – extends .065″ beyond the factory part for faster, more positive mag changes without breaking your grip.
- Extended Takedown Lever – extends .020″ beyond the factory part for simpler field stripping, even with sweaty or cold hands.
Installation is straightforward—these are direct drop-in replacements. No fitting, filing, or gunsmithing required. Just swap out the factory parts and you’re good to go.
Holster fit is a common concern with extended controls. We worked with four different US-based holster manufacturers during development. All reported that these extended controls did not affect holster fit or function. That said, holster design varies. If you use a tight, custom-molded holster, it’s always smart to confirm compatibility. For most standard concealed-carry and competition holsters, these controls will work without issue.
