What this kit does: It replaces your factory trigger with a solid-body aluminum Apex trigger featuring a center-mounted pivoting safety. When paired with the included Apex Forward Set Sear Actuator, the system reduces overall trigger travel by approximately 35%. This includes a reduction in over-travel and a noticeably shorter reset compared to the factory trigger and sear lever. The Forward Set Sear Actuator is the core of the system — it moves the striker release point further forward, allowing the integrated over-travel stop on the Apex trigger to precisely control where the trigger stops after the shot breaks.

What this kit does NOT do: This is a basic kit, so it does not smooth out pre-travel or the trigger pull itself. For that, you would need our Ultimate Striker Block. It also does not include replacement springs to adjust trigger pull weight. This kit is not designed to alter trigger pull weight — it simply replaces the trigger and sear lever to give you shorter overall trigger travel and a shorter reset.
