Put about 500 rounds through it at the range in Arlington. Accuracy was solid at 100 yards with Federal ammo. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the trigger pull – it’s a bit heavier than I’d prefer for precision shooting. Otherwise, it’s been completely reliable and feels great in the hands.

Used it at the Garland public range multiple times now. The rifle shoulders quickly and points naturally. Recoil is minimal even for newer shooters I’ve brought along. The M4-style stock adjusts easily for different shooters. It’s become my primary home defense firearm here in North Texas.

Ran great with brass-cased 5.56 but had a couple failures to feed with steel case Tulammo. Once I switched to Winchester, it functioned perfectly. The build quality feels substantial, and I like the classic AR styling. Just wish it was less particular about ammo choices.

First trip to the range had me grouping 1.5 inches at 50 yards with basic ammo. The rifle balanced well and the carbine-length gas system ran smoothly. I appreciated how easy it was to field strip for cleaning. Dallas Shooters Supply had it ready to go with no issues.

Took this out to my lease near Waco last weekend and dropped three hogs. The 5.56 caliber handled perfectly, and the lightweight build made carrying it through brush a breeze. I was impressed with how little recoil there was even after a full day of shooting. The iron sights were dead-on right out of the box. Definitely my new go-to rifle for Texas hunting trips.

Compared it side-by-side with more expensive brands at the range, and this held its own. The 1:9 twist barrel handled 55-grain bullets perfectly. After 300 rounds, I haven’t had a single malfunction. The fit and finish exceeded my expectations for the price point. Great purchase from a local Texas shop.
